Marc D. Jonas, Esq. of Blue Bell’s Eastburn and Gray was installed as a member of the Montgomery Bar Association Board of Directors at the organization’s annual meeting on Jan. 13, 2017.

“I am honored to serve the Montgomery Bar Association as a Director, in addition to my long-time service as Chair and Co-Chair of the Real Estate Committee of the Bar Association,” he said.

Jonas was named the 2017 Lawyer of the Year for Land Use and Zoning Law in Philadelphia by The Best Lawyers in America.

A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Penn Law School, Jonas has been named a Leader in Real Estate/Land Use law by Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business.

His peers have recognized him as a Pennsylvania “Super Lawyer,” and he has been selected repeatedly by U.S. News as a “Best Lawyer” in both Land Use and Zoning Law and Land Use and Zoning litigation for the Philadelphia Metropolitan area.

He is also former Chairman of the Montgomery County Planning Commission.

The Montgomery Bar Association is a nonprofit organization of nearly 2,100 Montgomery County attorneys. The MBA offers its members numerous opportunities for professional development, and helps deliver the services of member attorneys to the community.
