Universal Health Services’ Lakewood Ranch Medical Center Appoints New Chief Executive

Universal Health Services, one of the most respected hospital management companies in the nation, has several Montgomery County careers available.

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, which is part of King of Prussia’s Universal Health Services along with Manatee Memorial Hospital, has found its new chief executive in, the former CEO of Jennersville Regional Hospital in West Grove, according to a staff report from Herald-Tribune.

Prior to his position at Jennersville, Guz had also served as chief operating officer at several hospitals within Community Health Systems.  He had previously held various administrative positions with Health Management Associates, which was acquired by Community Health Systems three years ago.

He brings strong leadership skills to the hospital and shares our commitment to excellence,” said Kevin DiLallo, CEO for Manatee Healthcare System and group vice president of UHS of Delaware Inc.

Holder of a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Marshall University’s Lewis College of Business in Huntington, West Virginia, Guz has a master’s of health administration from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. He is also a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
