Montco Companies Dominate List of Fastest-Growing Philadelphia Firms

A 19th Century barn, formally a horse stable on the former Foxcatcher Farm in Newtown Square, was converted into a community clubhouse and amenity space by BartonPartners Architects Planners for Toll Brothers.

The Philadelphia Business Journal has launched a new initiative to identify the fastest-growing companies in Greater Philadelphia, writes Craig Ey, its Editor-in-Chief.

The companies that made the list have been dubbed the “50 on Fire in Philly.”

The actual rank of each company is being kept a secret until a special event at the SugarHouse Casino on Sept. 22.

“Greater Philadelphia’s economy is increasingly diverse and dynamic,” said Philadelphia Business Journal Publisher Sandy Smith. “We consider it a crucial part of our mission to identify and recognize the companies driving our region’s growth.”

The Journal looked at revenue growth over a three-year period from 2013 to 2015 to determine which companies made the cut.

Incredibly, Montgomery County companies account for almost half (23) of the “50 on Fire in Philly”:

  • Klein Hersh (Horsham)
  • Liberty Personnel Services Inc. (King of Prussia)
  • NextGen Security (King of Prussia)
  • Nutrisystem Inc. (Fort Washington)
  • ORS Partners (Audubon)
  • RAM Technologies Inc. (Fort Washington)
