A popular food truck known to roam King of Prussia and other Montgomery County hot spots recently served up one of America’s best breakfast recipes.

In a nationwide showdown of the Top 50 food trucks, Jerry’s Kitchen cooked up Britt’s Sandwich, an English muffin overflowing with sausage, egg, salami, potato pancake, sweet and sour peppers and onions, bacon butter, and spicy cheese sauce.

The inventive, made-from-scratch creation is one of 25 finalists in the Horsham-based Thomas’ Breakfast Battle.

“Food-truck fever has swept the culinary world and created a fun and exciting way to bring new cuisines and offerings to consumers,” said Jon Silvon, Thomas’ Senior Marketing Director. “We’re always looking to find new ways for our fans to enjoy Thomas’ iconic English muffins and bagels.
