Payroll Supervisor

This position ensures adherence to collective bargaining agreements and oversight, so that employees are paid correctly and in accordance with the law. He/she oversees the payroll process and schedules the work of administrative specialists to ensure timely payment, and oversees out-of-cycle payments for compliance with union agreements for terminations and new hires. The person also audits timesheets to ensure correct rates and overtime, and ensures that per diem and subsistence are paid in accordance with company policy.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in accounting or finance, and have three to six years of payroll experience in a multi-bargaining unit environment. Strong Experience with MS Excel and Word is required, while familiarity with a Work Order System & Penta is a plus. He/she must be able to work in a team environment and be detail-oriented and extremely accurate.

Regional Claims Supervisor

The position provides comprehensive service and support to the Regional Claims Manager for all liability and worker’s compensation claims for an assigned geographic territory, which may cross operational division boundaries for the East Region. Case management responsibilities involve auto and general liability claims, property damage claims, and Worker’s Compensation claims. Claims are handled in close cooperation with the Corporate Insurance and Legal Departments and with the company’s insurance carrier.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field. He/she will have at least seven years of experience in insurance claims management or liability and worker’s compensation claims, ranging from minor property damage claims to serious injuries. Supervisory experience is required. Construction safety experience, particularly in power, natural gas, and telecommunication, is preferred.

Director, Lean Construction

This position will oversee other individuals rotating through a Lean Construction professional program tailored to contractor work in Natural Gas & Pipeline, Telecommunications, and Power Transmission, Distribution, and Substations. The primary outcome is a culture of quality and improvement and in the execution of work processes that ensure customer satisfaction and deliver a defect-free work product. He/she will retain the best people and recognized in the industry as a model of operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree, and have at least 10 years of progressive experience in the construction industry. Utility Infrastructure (UI) industry segment work experience is preferred. Black-belt or master black-belt continuous improvement project work experience is required.
