Two new beer gardens are about to crop up in Montgomery County, one in Ambler, the other in Conshohocken, writes Michael Klein of Philly.com.

The Lower Gwynedd Township Board of Supervisors recently approved the Ambler Yards Beer Garden at 300 Brookside Avenue. The garden will be open on Thursdays and Saturdays starting May 19 and will run until the end of June. It will be closed Memorial Day weekend.

Fort Washington’s Cantina Feliz and sister restaurant Taqueria Feliz in Horsham will provide food and beverage for the beer garden.

According to Klein, the arrangement is run by Kevin Tierney and Ben Bergman, with Ambler Yards owners Matt Sigel and Marc Policarpo. The menu will include two beers and beer-friendly food.

In early June, Tierney and Esther Pulver will head the Conshohocken Beer Garden. Their food and beverage partner will be Brian Pieri and his crew from Bar Lucca and Pepperoncini.

“This one will be set up at 2 Ash Street, in part of the parking lot at the 3 Tower property, near the Residence Inn,” writes Klein.

Because of the licensing, patrons will have to register in advance via Tierney’s website, MoreThanTheCurve.com. The Conshohocken beer garden, open Wednesday through Saturday, will run through October.
