Some golf outings are just a round of golf. The 2026 Howell Open is something more.
Set for Monday, June 1, at the White Manor Country Club in Malvern, the Howell Open is hosted by the Howell Family Foundation and built around a cause that hits close to home for anyone who’s ever had a mentor change the direction of their career.
Proceeds support the Chester County Community Foundation’s Ted Gacomis Scholarship for Civil Engineering, honoring a beloved industry figure who spent decades guiding young engineers and believing in their potential before they believed in it themselves.
Every sponsorship dollar helps a graduating senior take the next step toward a career in engineering, with mentorship and internship opportunities that extend well beyond the check.
The day itself delivers. Registration opens at 10 AM, followed by a lunch buffet and a noon shotgun start. The afternoon wraps with a post-round reception featuring cocktails, small plates, and awards in a setting where the conversations tend to matter.
But here’s the part worth noting: sponsorship spots and golfer registrations are going fast, and the deadline to get involved is May 8.

Howell isn’t slowing down either. The company will sponsor driver CJ McLaughlin in the BetRivers 200 at Dover Motor Speedway on May 16, with McLaughlin piloting the Howell-branded No. 42 Chevrolet for Young’s Motorsports.

The Howell team will host McLaughlin for a special in-office Meet & Eat on May 14th. The race car will be on display, food trucks will be on site, and the team will have the chance to meet McLaughlin in person before he heads to Dover.
