Whether you’re a cycling enthusiast, a supporter of local causes, or simply someone looking for a fun event to experience with family and friends, the Firstrust Bank Conshy Classic offers a chance to experience both excitement and impact in one unforgettable day.
On Saturday, June 6, Conshohocken will be teeming with energy as cyclists, families, local businesses, and community supporters gather for the Firstrust Bank Conshy Classic, an event that blends high-speed racing with an even bigger purpose.
Now in its third year, the fast-growing cycling event, taking place alongside the Conshohocken Arts Festival & Car Show, promises a full day of excitement along Fayette Street. Spectators can expect elite racers flying through tight turns, a festival atmosphere filled with activity, and thousands of visitors packing the borough for a celebration that feels bigger than a traditional bike race.
What makes this year’s Conshy Classic especially meaningful is its connection to Johnnie’s Place, the nonprofit beneficiary of the event. Founded by Firstrust Bank EVP and Chief Lending Officer Michael Dinda in memory of his late son John, Johnnie’s Place is working to create stronger community connections and supportive housing for adults on the autism spectrum.
The organization’s mission adds emotional depth to an event already built around community energy and connection. Funds raised through the Conshy Classic will help support efforts to create social opportunities and affordable homes designed to combat the isolation many adults with autism experience after aging out of traditional support systems.
Firstrust Bank’s role as title sponsor illustrates the company’s longstanding commitment to community investment throughout the Philadelphia region.
“At Firstrust, we believe our role goes beyond banking — it’s about supporting the people and causes that strengthen our communities,” said Tim Abell, the bank’s CEO and President. “As the title sponsor of the Firstrust Bank Conshy Classic benefiting Johnnie’s Place, we’re thrilled to stand alongside this great foundation and help bring this meaningful vision to life.”
