The Arc of Chester County’s 23rd Annual Bubble Walk & Fun Day raised $125,041 in support of individuals with disabilities and their families, and achieved its ambitious fundraising goal of $125,000.

The beloved annual event held on Sunday, May 17, at West Goshen Community Park, welcomed 260 registered attendees who enjoyed a day filled with games, activities, bubbles, entertainment, community connection, and family fun.

The event featured engaging activities for children and families while celebrating inclusion and supporting The Arc’s mission of empowering individuals with disabilities throughout Chester County.

The success of this year’s event was driven by extraordinary community generosity, including $88,350 raised through corporate sponsorships and $25,192 generated through six peer-to-peer fundraising teams, whose supporters rallied family and friends around The Arc’s mission.

“We are incredibly grateful for the dedication and generosity of our corporate sponsors, fundraising teams, volunteers, and community supporters,” said Jeanne Meikrantz, CEO of The Arc of Chester County. “The Bubble Walk & Fun Day reflects the very best of our community—people coming together to support inclusion, advocacy, and opportunities for individuals with disabilities and their families.”

This year’s event was made possible through the efforts of 49 volunteers, along with Arc staff members and supporters who dedicated their time and energy to planning and executing the organization’s largest annual fundraising event.

“It truly takes an entire community to make this event successful,” said Paul Cardell, Chair of the Bubble Walk & Fun Day Committee. “From our sponsors and volunteers to every attendee and donor, we are deeply appreciative of the enthusiasm and commitment shown in support of The Arc’s mission.”

Although the event has concluded, fundraising efforts remain open as supporters continue collecting donations with hopes of further surpassing the $125,000 fundraising goal.

The mission of The Arc of Chester County is to advocate, educate, and provide services to empower individuals with disabilities and their families to enhance the quality of their lives.
