At its Norristown showroom, Superior Play Systems offers old-fashioned childhood fun through wooden playsets, trampolines, basketball courts, and other equipment, while also supporting programs for children in need, reports Nick Iadonisi for 6abc.
The company’s goal is also to make play accessible for as many children as possible.
“We deliver and install playgrounds throughout the world,” said Superior Play Systems Manager Nolan Kraus. “In addition to that, we have showrooms where people can come pay to play, enjoy the equipment.”
The company also regularly organizes “Charitable Play” events, giving showroom visitors the opportunity to make a difference in the life of a child in need.
“All the proceeds are donated to a charity which is currently St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, where we’ve donated over $32,000 to charity, making it possible so kids can heal and get back to play as soon as possible,” said Kraus.
But in the end, it is all about having fun.
“My favorite part about being involved here is watching kids smile, laugh and socialize with other kids, learning from each other and really building those memories,” said Kraus.
