Whether you are filling Easter baskets or just have a craving for something sweet, Edwards-Freeman Nut Company in Conshohocken has chocolate treats that come in all shapes and sizes, reports Bob Kelly for FOX 29 Philadelphia.
Founded as a nut company in 1950, Edwards-Freeman Nut Company began offering candies and chocolates around 50 years ago and has continued to broaden its product lineup ever since. The store now has everything from chocolate rabbits to chocolate deviled eggs.
One nostalgic favorite is a large chocolate egg that breaks open to reveal the gummy candies inside. In addition to chocolate, the shop features a wide array of jellies and gummy treats, along with plenty of classic candy favorites, such as candy buttons.
Loved by locals and admired by visitors from across the region, the store has become a favorite destination for candy and chocolate enthusiasts.
“They love this place,” said Rob Nelson, owner of Edwards-Freeman Nut Company. “They come in, they could be angry, they could be sad, but they leave happy as can be, because they come in here to get all their favorite stuff.”
