Community leaders, nonprofit professionals, donors, and philanthropists are invited to mark their calendars for the 2026 Better Giving for Greater Impact Summit, set for Wednesday, May 20, at the Chester County History Center (225 N. High Street, West Chester).
Presented by the FirstBank Charitable Foundation, the free regional summit is designed to inspire thoughtful philanthropy and strengthen collaboration among those working to improve local communities. The day-long event will bring together nonprofit leaders, funders, corporate partners, and community members for meaningful conversations focused on maximizing the impact of giving.
The Summit will feature educational sessions and networking opportunities aimed at helping participants better understand how strategic, locally focused philanthropy can create lasting change. Attendees will gain insights into emerging community needs and explore ways to support initiatives addressing housing insecurity, food access, health and human services, arts and culture, medical research, and more.
A concurrent Nonprofit Expo, open to the public from 9:00 AM-2:00 PM, will showcase a wide range of regional nonprofit organizations. Visitors can stop in throughout the day to “speed meet” nonprofit representatives, learn about their missions, and discover opportunities to get involved. The Expo is also the only way to enter the Summit raffle.
The event will also include a Lunch and Learn experience, allowing participants to connect with organizations grouped by focus area and gain a deeper understanding of how they are making a difference across the region.
While the Summit is free to attend, advance registration is requested due to venue capacity and planning needs.
Sponsorship opportunities are now available, offering businesses and community partners the chance to support the event and increase visibility among engaged philanthropic audiences. The sponsorship deadline is Apr. 10.
