Part-Time Challenger Learning Center Facilitator
The Part-Time Challenger Learning Center Facilitator is responsible for the facilitative assistance of the daily Challenger Learning Center in-person and virtual mission programming, as well as the use of campus educational resources in support of STEM extension programming.
*This role requires the ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and some holidays, as needed.
**PA Child Abuse, PA State Police, and FBI Fingerprints will need to be completed before the start date.
Essential Education, Training, Skills, and Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a classroom and/or informal educational settings using computer-assisted instruction preferred.
- Desire to work with children of all ages, as well as adults.
- Passionate about higher education, particularly in STEM.
- Experience with STEM programming for youth.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess an outgoing and enthusiastic personality.

Youth Engagement Program Manager
The Youth Engagement Program Manager is responsible for overseeing, developing, and facilitating a range of youth-focused programs aimed at enhancing STEM education, community engagement, and overall youth development. This role involves coordinating with various internal departments, external partners, and stakeholders to ensure the success and impact of youth engagement initiatives at the College.
*This position has college-wide responsibilities and requires travel between all campuses and off-site locations. Location will mainly be at the Pottstown campus.
**This position requires the new hire to submit the child abuse clearance, the PA State Police check, and FBI fingerprint results to Human Resources before their first day of employment.
***This position has been approved for a flexible work option arrangement. Flexiblework options can be ended at any time by the College, Cabinet, and/or supervisors based on employee performance and/or as institutional needs change.
Essential Education, Training, Skills, and Work Experience:
- Two years of experience in classroom and/or informal educational settings using computer-assisted instruction.
- Knowledge of PA early learning, Common Core, NGSS, and higher education standards.
- Proven experience with program and curriculum development.
- Experience with budget management, as well as grants management and oversight.
- Passionate about higher education, particularly in STEM/STEAM initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Educational Leadership, Human Services, or a related field required; master’s degree preferred.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, including Internet, email, database, spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation experience.
- Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and some MCCC administrative holidays.
- Ability to speak Spanish preferred but not required.
