Michael Fedor, who possesses decades of leadership experience spanning higher education, nonprofit, and public service, has joined Eastern University as Vice President for Advancement.

Most recently, Fedor served as Vice President of Advancement and Strategic Initiatives at Central Penn College, where he led the design and execution of a transformational strategic plan, expanded enrollment in high-demand programs, and secured multimillion-dollar donor and public-private partnerships to strengthen facilities and student opportunities. Fedor’s leadership style, alignment with Eastern’s vision, mission, and values, and commitment to our advancement and stewardship priorities will be an asset to the community.

“I am honored to join a community with such a strong commitment to its students,” said Fedor. “I look forward to building relationships with alumni, sharing Eastern’s story with new potential partners, and getting to know the individuals who make Eastern so unique.”

The role of Vice President for Advancement is vital to Eastern, particularly during this time of growth and development. Recently, the university has raised $27 million of its $30 million goal for its A Time to Rise campaign, renovated and expanded numerous facilities, including Templeton Hall and the new baseball field, and signed an agreement to purchase 33 acres from Valley Forge Military Academy and College. Fedor’s expertise will be an incredible asset to the fundraising of such initiatives going forward and will guide Eastern in the stewardship of funds to directly impact the lives of students.

“We are thrilled to welcome Michael Fedor to our community,” said Eastern President Ronald Matthews. “His wealth of experience and knowledge in higher education, along with his passionate personal faith, will be an asset to our advancement team and the entire Eastern community.”
