Ardmore’s Newest Apartments Bet Big on Walkability

Coulter Place opens in Ardmore with 131 apartments, luxury amenities, ground-floor retail, and unmatched walkability near Suburban Square.

Ardmore’s newest apartment building is leaning hard into one of the Main Line’s biggest lifestyle perks: walkability and a front-row view of Trader Joe’s, writes Paul Schwedelson for The Philadelphia Business Journal.

Developed by Bozzuto in partnership with Kimco Realty, Coulter Place is set to open later this month at 115 Coulter Ave., directly across from Trader Joe’s and steps from Suburban Square. The five-story, 131-unit building marks the final phase of Kimco’s long-running redevelopment of Suburban Square.

The $100 million project was designed to capitalize on its surroundings, from nearby shopping and dining to the Ardmore train station and Ardmore Music Hall just a short walk away. The building’s ground floor includes 20,000 square feet of retail, already leased to brands like New Balance, Rhone, Barry’s, Skin Laundry, and Sugared + Bronzed.

Inside, residents have access to 7,700 square feet of amenities, including lounges, a fitness center, courtyards, a pool deck, and concierge services. More than 70% of the apartments feature balconies, and the building includes EV charging stations and LEED Gold sustainability credentials.

With one-bedroom rents starting around $3,000, Coulter Place joins a broader wave of new residential development reshaping Ardmore’s core.
