Montgomeryville’s The Goddard School Kids Raise $5,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

Montgomeryville’s Goddard School kids raised $5,000 for St. Jude, learning bike safety and kindness during a superhero-themed Trike-a-Thon.

As part of a lesson in kindness and community, children at The Goddard School of Montgomeryville turned a day of play into a powerful act of giving.

The preschool hosted a Trike-a-Thon fundraiser to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, combining fun, learning, and compassion for a great cause.

Students brought their bikes and tricycles to school and spent the day pedaling around a designated course, dressed as superheroes and surrounded by bubbles and music. Teachers joined in the fun, dancing and cheering on the young riders.

“The kids love bike days,” said Colleen Marmor, the school’s director. “And this one taught them about helping other children while learning about bike safety and giving back.”

With an initial goal of $2,500, the event far surpassed expectations—raising more than $5,000 for St. Jude. The school also received age-appropriate educational materials from the hospital, helping students understand the importance of supporting children facing serious illnesses.

For The Goddard School team, the cause hit close to home. “Cancer research is personal for some of us,” Marmor shared. “It’s something we’re proud to support.”
