Eataly, the expansive Italian marketplace that recently opened at the King of Prussia Mall, has revealed the recipe for its celebrated Tagliatelle alla Bolognese, writes Alicia Vitarelli for 6abc.
The market is lined with stalls that promise something for everyone, from pizza and gelato to a wide array of Italian specialties.
“We are extremely excited to be here,” said Enrico Prodi, Eataly’s Senior Director of Operations. “You can really experience the Italian art of living. We want to share the Italian lifestyle and we want people to escape and feel like they are in Italy.”
This 21,000-square-foot Italian foodie haven is filled with rare imported Italian products along with a selection of wines.
“We have 450 Italian wine labels,” said Prodi. “That’s very hard to find. We have specific Italian products, from the olive oil to the pasta to the sweets.”
Visitors can also explore a gelato station, indulge in homemade Italian pastries, sip coffee at the bar, and savor Roman-style pizzas and paninis.
To demonstrate the quality of their cuisine, Eataly recently released the recipe for its celebrated Tagliatelle alla Bolognese, which allows everyone to try their hand at preparing it at home.
