Chase Bank plans will open seven new branches across the Philadelphia region over the next three months, with four located in Montgomery County, writes Jeff Blumenthal for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The bank already opened three retail branches in the area earlier this year, bringing the total number of new openings to ten and the overall branch count in the region to 78.

The bank plans on adding 20 more branches next year as part of its plan to have 100 retail locations in the Greater Philadelphia market by 2027.

The branches opening in Montgomery County include Collegeville Shopping Center at 61 Second Avenue on October 21, Montgomeryville at 773 Bethlehem Pike on December 2, Harleysville at 196 Main Street on December 9, and Souderton at 714 Route 113 on December 10.

Chase has earned regulatory approval to open 17 branches in the Philadelphia region, including those already scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of this year, according to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. The bank has also filed to open five more and has 13 more under development in the surrounding areas.
