Sojo Industries, the fast-growing packaging and robotics firm, has tripled its Bucks County footprint by signing a 215,000-square-foot lease in Langhorne, marking one of the largest leases in the Philadelphia region this year, writes Ryan Mulligan for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
“We’re seeing tremendous growth in this region,” said Sojo Industries CEO Barak Bar-Cohen. “There’s so many brands, so many great manufacturing companies in the greater Pennsylvania area, that we’re really excited to double down and invest in the region, because we’re seeing so much demand.”
The four-year-old startup leased the entire recently completed warehouse at 900 Wheeler Way, roughly 15 minutes from its headquarters in Bristol. The expansion follows the company’s $40 million Series B financing round from S2G Investments, which closed in June.
Sojo Industries’ Sojo Flight leverages robotics and advanced technology to establish mobile manufacturing lines. This, in turn, enables beverage companies to produce variety packs of their drinks with greater ease.
While the company has been focused on beverage variety packs in its first four years, it has already started expanding into other industries, such as snacks, health and beauty, and pet food.
