Dan Limbauan, a 28-year-old Montgomery County resident, has eaten Chick-fil-A every day for the past five years, just skipping Sundays when the restaurant is closed, writes Marcella Baietto for CBS News Philadelphia.
“Starting July 24, 2020, I’ve gone every single day that Chick-fil-A has been open, except for Sundays, of course,” said Limbauan.
The fast-food chicken spot is part of his daily routine.
“I joke with my girlfriend that this is my longest relationship,” he said.
Chick-fil-A has remained a steady presence in Limbauan’s life through many milestones over the past five years.
“That’s where I celebrated every birthday since like 16,” he said. “I went there after my high school graduation. I picked my college because it was close to a Chick-fil-A.”
When he graduated, he wore a Chick-fil-A shirt beneath his dress shirt. Later, to celebrate his streak, he even had the chain’s motto, “Eat Mor Chikin,” tattooed on his leg.
“So, I did that in celebration of the four years,” said Limbauan.
He marked his five-year streak by celebrating with his family at the Lansdale location, where he also posed for a photo with a special guest – the Chick-fil-A cow.
