Eagles’ Cooper DeJean Hosts Youth Camp at Haverford School to Engage with Community

Eagles cornerback Cooper DeJean, who became a fan favorite for his pick-six in the Super Bowl, hosted a youth camp at the Haverford School.

Eagles cornerback Cooper DeJean, who became a fan favorite thanks to his legendary interception return for a touchdown in Super Bowl LIX, hosted a youth camp at the Haverford School as part of his ongoing efforts to build stronger ties with the community, writes Isabella DiAmore for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

DeJean’s rookie year was extremely successful, and many fans are eager to see what is next for the 22-year-old. But for DeJean, three months after becoming a Super Bowl champion, not much has changed.

“I am still the same old me,” he said.

He is more focused on the community, and in addition to the youth camp, he also participated in the Eagles Autism Challenge in recent months.

As far as the next season is concerned, he is hoping to take on more of a leadership role with several veterans departing in the secondary. However, he recognizes that he is still young and for now is simply ready to get back to work.

“I’ve still got a lot more that I want to accomplish,” he said.
