Kimberton Whole Foods is continuing to expand with plans to add 17,500 square feet of warehouse space at Haywood Business Park.

Kimberton Whole Foods is continuing to expand with plans to add 17,500 square feet of warehouse space at Hankin Group’s Haywood Business Park in Uwchlan Township, writes Donna Rovins for The Daily Local News

The family-owned and operated organic grocer expects to move into the space it leased in the fall.

“As our business continues to grow across all locations and we move ahead with the construction of our eighth store in Eagleview Town Center, the need for additional warehouse space has become increasingly essential,” said Ezra Brett, chief operations officer at Kimberton Whole Foods.

According to Brett, the company is outgrowing the current warehouse in Downingtown, which it has operated for the last 12 years.

The Downingtown space will continue to serve as the Commissary Kitchen for Kimberton’s food service program, which already operates at the location, once the new warehouse becomes operational.

Kimberton Whole Foods partners with over 200 local producers and uses its current warehouse as a distribution center for products that are sourced from both local vendors and national brands, including produce, dairy, meat, baked goods, and more.
