MCCC Theatre Arts and the Drama Club Present World Premiere of ‘The Marginals’

Students in Montgomery County Community College Theatre Arts Program and Drama Club will be presenting ‘The Marginals’ at the Black Box Theatre on the Blue Bell Campus, Apr. 10-13.

Montgomery County Community College’s (MCCCTheatre Arts Program and Drama Club are excited to present the world premiere performance of The Marginals at the Black Box Theatre, Science Center Building 107, Blue Bell. Performances will take place on Apr. 10, 11, and 12 at 7:00 PM; Apr. 11 at 12:30 PM; and Apr. 13 at 2:00 PM.

Tickets are $10 for students and senior citizens and $15 for general admission. Tickets are available here.

Written by Artist, Educator, and Creator Kate Brennan and directed by MCCC Theatre Assistant Professor Tim Gallagher, The Marginals follows a group of marginally magical high school students. The play delivers a powerful message about the importance of art and how, by working together, people can make a meaningful impact.

The Student Cast features Kayla Alderfer, Vic Bewley, Gabby Boone, Myles Daniels, Nick Decolli, Leila Hadjali, Hannah Hang, Dom Hernandez, Morgan Kelliehan, Haven Kortz, John Lebo, Thomas Mayes, Ethan Peyton, Belle Ragazzo, Hannah Redding-Gurczynski, Amy Reichling, Goose Rhoads, and Mya Smith.

The Production and Design Team includes Jake Batchelder, Vic Bewley, Maeve Brennan, Ally Cole, Russell Cole, Zaki Coleman, Myles Daniels, Dash Durning, Bre Freeman, Grace Freeman-Bibbs, Dinia Hernandez, Ryan Hinderliter, Leo Inzerillo, Caleb Karlson, Elizabeth Kieser, Morgan Krause, Wyatt Lament, John Lebo, Seth Miller, Milo Morales, Ethan Peyton, Hannah Redding-Gurczynski, Nora Redmond, Amy Reichling, Gray Santino, and Steele Stevens.

Student performances are part of MCCC’s Montco Cultural Center, a hub for arts and cultural programming across MCCC’s venues, including the newly renovated, 560+ seat theater in Blue Bell, the Black Box Theatre, North Hall theater, and the fine arts galleries at both campuses.
