This year marks a decade of Giving Back, Giving Together (GBGT), C&N’s signature community giving program that has brought teammates, business partners, and community leaders together to make a lasting impact.

Since its launch in 2015, GBGT has raised more than $800,000, donated more than 42,000 necessity items, and contributed 1,650-plus volunteer hours — all in support of 245 local organizations and causes that make a difference in the lives of the bank’s neighbors.

What started as a simple idea — a way for C&N teammates to rally around a shared mission of giving — has grown into something truly remarkable. Through fundraising, volunteering, and advocacy, GBGT has empowered communities, strengthened local partnerships, and created meaningful change across the bank’s footprint.  

“Giving Back, Giving Together is one of the most inspiring things we do at C&N,” said Brad Scovill, C&N’s President and CEO. “It’s a reflection of who we are — not just as a bank, but as people who care deeply about our communities. Over the past 10 years, our teammates have shown an unwavering commitment to making a difference, and it’s been incredible to see the impact we can have when we come together with our customers, business partners, and community leaders.”

Each year, GBGT selects a cause to support, from fighting hunger and homelessness to championing mental health resources, youth services, and beyond. Local nonprofits and community organizations have been at the center of these efforts, receiving not only financial support but also hands-on assistance from C&N teammates who dedicate their time and talent to the mission.  

As C&N celebrates this milestone, the spirit of GBGT continues to thrive.
