West Chester-based A. Duie Pyle, a provider of both asset and non-asset-based supply chain solutions, is continuing to expand its reach with the addition of two new facilities in Richmond, Virginia, and Charlotte, North Carolina, writes Donna Rovins for The Daily Local News.
The company announced the opening of its new warehouse and distribution center in North Carolina last month, marking its first physical presence in the state. The move aims to address the needs of a key strategic customer while also strengthening its position as the premier solutions provider.
The 186,000-square-foot facility will provide warehousing, pick and pack, consolidation, deconsolidation, hazmat storage, and bulk storage services.
“Expanding our warehousing footprint will enable us to better serve an existing strategic customer who requires supply chain expertise and support beyond the Northeast,” said Frank Granieri, COO of supply chain solutions.
The company also announced the opening of a new 9,700-square-foot fleet maintenance facility in Virginia for its less-than-truckload and dedicated transportation operations. This aims to improve fleet maintenance efficiency and ensuring reliable, timely service across the region.
