Jason Kelce showed up at a Haverford Township Zoning Hearing Board meeting last Thursday to testify about changes to his property as he and Kylie construct a new home on the site for their expanding family, writes Max Bennett for Patch.
Jason and Kylie Kelce have lived in Haverford since 2018. They have three daughters, with a fourth child now on the way.
They are requesting variances to install a fence and remove slopes on the property. The zoning hearing board OK’d the variances, with conditions.
A new fence will provide safer entry into the property and security for the residents.
Jason Kelce appeared as a witness.
“Obviously, things for my family are quite unique,” Kelce said. “We would just like to deter a little bit of the foot traffic coming in and out of the home.”
Neighbor Wendy De La Rosa was concerned about water runoff onto her property from the construction and from the removal of the slopes.
Zoning Hearing Board Member Robert Kane said there would be increased runoff during construction but that sediment controls would be in place once construction is finished.
The variance approval includes a condition to control water runoff so it doesn’t adversely affect neighbors, he said.
