Lankenau Hospital Ranked Among Top 50 Hospitals in US for Third Straight Year

Lankenau Hospital ranked in the top 50 hospitals in the country by Healthgrades healthcare data company for third year in a row.

For the third year in a row, Wynnewood’s Lankenau Medical Center has been named one of America’s 50 best hospitals by Healthgrades, writes John George for Philadelphia Business Journal.

Lankenau Medical Center, part of Main Line Health joined Riddle Hospital and Chester County Hospital in the top 50 list for the second consecutive year. Both Lankenau and Chester County Hospital also made the list in 2023.

“We’re very proud that our hospitals continue to rank among the nation’s best in the Healthgrades survey,” said Main Line Health’s chief medical officer, Dr. Jonathan Stallkamp.

Healthgrades is a Denver-based healthcare data company that evaluates clinical performances across more than 30 common procedures and conditions at 4,500 hospitals nationwide. With this data, they recognize the top 250 hospitals annually.

Healthgrades’ rankings aim to equip patients with information about hospital quality to make informed healthcare decisions. Dr. Brad Bowman, Healthgrades’ chief medical officer, emphasizes that hospital quality is critical to a patient’s overall care.

Lankenau Medical Center’s recognition reinforces its reputation as a leading healthcare provider in the Philadelphia region.
