Paris-Based Architects Build Beautiful Glass House in Gladwyne

Two Paris-based architects build a stunning modern glass house in Gladwyne near the Philadelphia Country Club.

Gladwyne is now home to a newly completed modern glass house designed by Paris-based architects Margot Petropavlovsky and Chloe Taieb, writes Sandy Smith for Philadelphia Magazine.

The architecture is a minimalist masterpiece that seamlessly merges indoor and outdoor spaces.

Close to the Philadelphia Country Club, the home’s design has sliding glass doors, expansive windows, and two atriums.

One atrium has an indoor pool that transitions into and infinity pool overlooking a beautiful backyard. The second atrium crowns the living toom and offers a bright open space for greenery or art.

The main floor features a sleek kitchen with hidden appliances, a family room with a gas fireplace, and recreational amenities, including a gym, sauna, wet room, and a home theater. A guest suite completes this level.

Upstairs, four bedroom suites each have private balconies, with the primary suite offering floor-to-ceiling windows wrapping around two sides. An atrium overlook doubles as a gallery or seating area.

Located close to natural parks and employment hubs, this house offers both serenity and convenience. With its striking design and connection to nature, it’s a home built for those who appreciate fine modern living.
