Social Media & Graphic Design Coordinator
This position supports Montgomery County Community College’s strategic marketing and communication goals by creating compelling digital storytelling and visual content. This role will help elevate Montco’s brand and mission, increasing awareness, expanding audiences and engagement, driving website traffic, and fostering community through impactful, creative content.
Essential Education, Training, Skills, and Work Experience:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or a similar field is required.
- Up-to-date knowledge of emerging trends in social media and digital marketing.
- At least two to three years of experience in social media management and graphic design, ideally within higher education.
- In-depth knowledge of social media trends, audiences, and platforms for the higher education sector.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion, maintaining privacy and integrity.
- Graphic design skills and experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, and Canva or similar tools.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as SEO tools.
- Experience with HTML for web publishing and email marketing.
- Knowledge of Sprout Social or similar social media management tools.
- Maintains high standards for quality and accuracy in all deliverables.
- Strong writing skills for a variety of platforms, including web and social media content, video editing, and storytelling
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to take initiative and engage people in digital projects for the College.
- Ability to work well in a team environment on multiple concurrent projects, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines while paying close attention to details.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends for event coverage as required.

Part-time Workforce Development Information Technology Specialist (Temporary, Grant Funded)
The Part-time Workforce Development Information Technology Specialist is a grant-funded position. The Specialist will work with the Director of Workforce Development for Information Technology in helping to grow the various non-credit and workforce development courses as well as certificate training IT programs. They will assist with planning and coordinating the administrative phases of these programs, including the CISCO Academy Support and Instructor Training Center.
*Position will work 25 hours per week and will be based at the Blue Bell campus with occasional work at the Pottstown campus.
*This position is contingent upon grant funding with an expected end date of Aug. 31, 2025.
*This position has been approved for a flexible work option arrangement. Flexible work options can be ended at any time by the College, Cabinet, and/or supervisors based on employee performance and/or as institutional needs change.
Essential Education, Training, Skills, and Work Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least one year of general work experience is required.
- A minimum of six months of experience with CISCO Networking Academy, its programs, and its training center is required.
- Demonstrated team and organizational skills.
- Proven skills in handling detailed tasks and multiple assignments.
- Established interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated record of being able to work well with people in a service organization.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with various types of individuals and companies.
