Mitzvah Circle, a nonprofit dedicated to meeting the basic needs of families in crisis, celebrated the grand opening of its new facility in Lansdale, writes The Reporter.

The facility will enable Mitzvah Circle to mobilize over 4,000 volunteers and assist more than 300,000 people annually, providing essentials such as clothing, soap, diapers, and period products.

State Sen. Maria Collett praised the organization “When every family can have their most basic needs met, our entire community benefits,” she said. “I’m thrilled to welcome Mitzvah Circle to their new home in my district, and I was so proud to help secure state grant funding for their facility so they can continue to deliver millions of period products, diapers, clothing items and other necessities to vulnerable folks across our region.”

Commissioner Jamila Winder highlighted the strong partnership with Mitzvah Circle, while State Rep. Melissa Cerrato acknowledged their compassionate service to individuals and families in Montgomery Township. The event also saw participation from local officials, state representatives, and representatives from U.S. Senators Bob Casey and John Fetterman’s offices.
