Ambler’s Heathland Hospitality Group Acquired by Philadelphia’s Aramark

Aramark has acquired Ambler-based Heathland Hospitality Group in an effort to expand its portfolio as well as improve the client experience.

Aramark has acquired Ambler-based Heathland Hospitality Group in an effort to expand its portfolio as well as improve the client experience, writes Emma Dooling for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The company’s Aramark Refreshments division purchased the Montgomery County hospitality group for an undisclosed amount.

Heathland Hospitality Group employs over 100 staff, all of whom can remain with the company following the finalization of the deal. Bob Wurtz, CEO of Heathland Hospitality Group, will also remain on board to lead the business.

The group serves over 25 clients in Greater Philadelphia and the Cleveland, Ohio, area. Its services include corporate dining with in-house, chef-prepared meals, micro markets with self-serve and self-checkout systems, as well as special event management options.

Aramark Refreshments offers workplace break and snack experiences and solutions at over 80,000 locations in North America.

The company believes that Heathland Hospitality Group’s “entrepreneurial approach and dedication to high-quality, fresh food preparation” really help complement Aramark’s mission.

“Together, we will continue to innovate and elevate the dining experience for our clients across various sectors,” said Aramark Refreshments CEO Patrick Liebler.

The integration of the Ambler company into  Aramark Refreshments will begin right away.
