Conshohocken-based Cencora CEO Names Two Outsiders to Leadership Team
Bob Mauch, CEO of Conshohocken-based Cencora, has added two outsiders to the company’s leadership team in one of his first major public moves since he took over last month, writes John George for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
Francois Mandeville is the company’s new executive vice president for strategy and mergers and acquisitions. Pawan Verma joined Cencora as its executive vice president and chief data and information officer. Both are newly created roles.
Mandeville previously served as chief development officer at Johnson Controls, a Milwaukee building technology software and services company. Prior to that, he was an executive at Danaher Corp., a Washington, D.C.-based maker of medical, industrial, and commercial products.
Verma was previously executive vice president and global chief information officer at MetLife. Before that, he was the chief information and customer experience officer at Foot Locker.
“Our evolved leadership structure, which is now a combination of internally developed talent and new outside expertise, will enable us to further build on our already strong position in the marketplace,” said Mauch.
Cencora is one of the biggest companies in the country. They employ over 46,000 people worldwide, including 1,100 in the Philadelphia region.
