Conshohocken mainstay Guppy's Good Times is opening a second location in the Florida Keys, 80 minutes away from Phillies Spring Training.

Conshohocken’s Guppy’s Good Times is opening up a second location, reports Justine Heinze for the Patch.

The new location will be a long trip from home, over 1,000 miles, in Longboat Key, Florida. Owners of the original location, Robin Gupta and Chris Lilley are teaming up with Lilley’s son Nick to open the new island restaurant.

Guppy’s is a beloved restaurant in Conshohocken on Maple Street and Elm Street. It’s known for craft burger, sushi bar, and its colorful artwork.

The Florida location promises to bring a touch of Philadelphia flare to the Keys. A message written on a new mural helps customers with their bearings. It reads “just 87 steps from the beach and 1,088 miles from the Linc.”

Also written: “41-33,” the final score of the Eagles Superbowl win.

The new restaurant aims to be open in time for the Eagles game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on September 29.

Guppy’s Florida is an 80 minute drive to Tamp Bay and Clearwater where the Phillies have Spring Training.
