Glenside’s Arcadia University has made significant strides in its educational recognition, reports Dino Ciliberti for the Patch.
The university proudly claimed the title of the top school in Pennsylvania for study abroad programs, according to the U.S. News & World Report 2025 Best Colleges rankings. The program is also celebrated nationally, ranking No. 11 in the country.
University officials highlighted Arcadia’s commitment to fostering global learning experiences for students. In addition to its success in study abroad, Arcadia ranked high in the Best Regional Universities North category, securing the 74th position out of 171 schools and being named a Top Performer on Social Mobility for six consecutive years.
This year, the school occupied the No. 50 spot out of 165 schools in the Social Mobility ranking, which evaluates institutions on their effectiveness in graduating economically disadvantaged students, particularly those receiving Pell Grants.
Moreover, several of Arcadia’s graduate programs have also gained recognition in the U.S. News & World Report Best Graduate Schools rankings, with notable standings in Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant, Public Health, and Education.
Earlier this year, Arcadia further cemented its reputation by being included in The Princeton Review’s best regional colleges for the 10th year in a row. These accolades reflect Arcadia University’s dedication to educational excellence and its ongoing commitment to providing equitable opportunities for all students.
