Bryn Mawr’s Pinwheel Provisions is the place to go for healthy food on the fly, reports Bob Kelly for Fox 29 Philadelphia.

Owner Anjali Gupta says “Our mission is to make it easier for you to eat better at home.”

Pinwheel Provisions specializes in packaging healthy, ready-made meals to bring home and prepare with as little work as possible. The selection isn’t limited to supper time. They serve breakfast and dessert, and their ‘Wich Way’ sandwich bar offers the perfect lunch for those on the go.

A mainstay on the menu is the Pinwheel Toasties, their twist on a panini.

Gupta says the Bryn Mawr eatery focuses on locally sourced products if they do not make them in-house. One of their partners, Milk Jawn is a Philly ice cream brand with a cult following.

Their ‘Fresh Frozens’ station offers frozen produce that can easily prepared at home for those who want to make a meal that’s not on the menu.

Not all customers are in a rush to get home or back to work, so Pinwheel offers a shaded area just outside their Lancaster Ave location for customers to eat.
