North Montco Technical Career Center is expanding its Adult Education lineup with two dynamic career paths — Medical Assistant and Diesel Preventative Maintenance Mechanic — starting this fall.
Medical Assistant
Designed based on community feedback and the needs of local healthcare employers, the new Medical Assistant Program covers essential topics such as Law and Ethics, Major Body Systems, and EKG procedures. This program ensures you acquire the knowledge and skills that are in high demand in today’s healthcare industry.
In addition to a comprehensive curriculum, this program offers:
- CPR certification for healthcare workers.
- National certification as a medical assistant.
These credentials will significantly enhance your employability and career prospects. Moreover, like North Montco Technical Career Center’s successful Phlebotomy Technician program, the Center facilitates externships with its healthcare partners, providing valuable real-world experience that employers highly value. For more information and registration details, visit the Medical Assistant Program.
