These Montgomery County Golf Courses Offer Budget-Friendly Tee Times

Montgomery County has numerous affordable golf courses for people who are on a budget that won't break the bank.

If you’re looking to try a new sport that is on par with your budget, golf is a good one and Montgomery County has numerous courses that won’t break the bank, writes Laura Brzyski and Giana Longo for Philadelphia Magazine.

Jeffersonville Golf Club in Norristown features several bunkers, making it challenging for both new and experienced players. Some weekday twilight time slots dip down to $45.

Phoenixville’s Kimberton Golf Club hosts its own Club Championship and has hosted golfers for over 60 years. Its most affordable time is weekday twilight hours when tee times can go under $40.

Melrose Country Club in Cheltenham offers walking rates at only $28, or you can play after 2 PM during the week for only $41.

Raven’s Claw in Pottstown has a $39 option available after 4 PM on weekdays.

Meanwhile, Skippack Golf Club, which has a reputation as a true player’s course allows golfers to play for $35 after 4 PM on weekdays.

Golfers going to Turtle Creek in Limerick can expect to pay between $40 and $60 every day of the week, while Walnut Lane Golf Club in Wissahickon offers rounds for $32 during weekday twilight hours.
