Fort Washington-based Toll Brothers recently launched sales for Meravita at Boca Raton, a high-end housing community in Florida, with prices starting at $1.8 million, writes Brian Bandell for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The luxury home builder will develop 70 homes on a 37.4-acre site that was recently agricultural.

The land was acquired by an affiliate of California-based land bank Arroyo Capital for $40 million late last year. The property is under contract to Toll Brothers, which is acting as the developer under the land banking agreement.

The homes will start at 3,291 square feet and be as big as 5,406 square feet. The home builder plans to add many community amenities, including a pool with cabanas, a fitness center, a playground, and a sports court, among others.

“Our new Meravita at Boca Raton community will offer residents the opportunity to enjoy Toll Brothers luxury living in one of South Florida’s most desirable locations,” said Jonathan Carter, division president of Toll Brothers in Southeast Florida.

He added that with its outstanding included features, “this community will set a new standard for luxury living in Boca Raton.”
