N.Y. Times: Bryn Mawr Billionaire Michael Rubin Hosts Annual Celebrity-filled Independence Day Bash
Bryn Mawr billionaire Michael Rubin and his partner Camille Fishel once again hosted the Fourth of July White Party — an Independence Day bash filled with celebrities — at their Long Island mansion, writes Rachel Sherman for The New York Times.
Among the many famous guests were Tom Brady, Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Megan Fox, Drake, and Emily Ratajkowski.
This is the fourth edition of the annual party in the Hamptons and once again drew many paparazzi hoping to catch a glimpse of the numerous A-listers who came to hang out on the tennis court that had been turned into an ultra-exclusive nightclub for the event.
“Imagine walking into Liv Miami,” said Fishel. “You don’t even know you’re on a tennis court.”
Around 400 people were on the guest list this year, with around 300 receiving lithograph invitations designed by the visual artist George Condo. A significantly smaller number got invitations that were personally painted and addressed by name by Condo.
“We make a joke that it’s 400 of our closest friends coming over to catch up,” said Fishel.
Guests got to enjoy performances by Shaboozey, Mary J. Blige, and Lil Wayne.
