CraveWell Cafe is a quick-service, healthy restaurant in Malvern, reports Bob Kelly for Fox 29 Philadelphia.
After suffering a stroke in 2016, Deb Manchester decided she wanted to open a restaurant that focused on health and nutrition.
“My favorite salad is the Apple Pecan, and my favorite sandwich is the garlic chicken,” said Manchester. The shop also features bowls, smoothies, juices, and different kinds of toast, like the popular avo-hummus toast. Some of their other popular dishes include the Blueberry Field salad, which contains spinach, blueberry, strawberries, cucumber, candied pecans, red onion, and goat cheese.
Manchester sees CraveWell as a retreat for healthy indulgences, a place where people can enjoy food and take care of their body.
“Most healthy places had very small portions,” she said. “We wanted to be healthy and filling.”
CraveWell teaches their customers to take charge of their own health, offering a Create-Your-Own option.
There is also another location in Collegeville which boasts an equally healthy and fun menu.
CraveWell Cafe is open 7 AM – 6 PM Mon-Fri, 8 AM – 4 PM on Saturday, and closed on Sundays.
