Ten Montgomery County townships have found their place among the 25 best suburbs in Philadelphia, according to a recently released report from Stacker.
Stacker used data provided by Niche to determine the best suburbs in Philadelphia. Niche used several metrics to rank suburbs across the U.S., including diversity, the cost of living, the share of the population with college degrees, and the quality of schools and housing.
Ardmore ranked the highest on the list in second place. The town with a population of 14,075 has a median home value of $424,100 and a median rental price of $1,615. It received an overall Niche grade of A+ and most of its schools – both public and private – received the same high score.
Penn Wynne came fourth on the list. The suburb received an overall A+ grade. Conshohocken and Jenkintown also made the top ten in seventh and eighth respectively. Both towns were ranked with an A+ score.
