Wine Spectator has published its 2024 Restaurant Awards list and six King of Prussia eateries have found their place among over 3,700 establishments from around the globe, writes Emma Dooling for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
The annual awards are presented in three categories: Award of Excellence, Best of Award of Excellence, and Grand Award. The first category recognizes restaurants with at least 90 “thoughtfully chosen” selections of wine, while the second category highlights those with 350 or more wines and knowledgeable staff who can assist diners in their wine selections. The highest recognition goes to the most “elite” wine programs with at least 1,000 selections.
King of Prussia’s Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse, Eddie V’s Prime Seafood, Fogo de Chão, Morton’s The Steakhouse, and Seasons 52, were all recognized with the Award of Excellence.
Meanwhile, The Capital Grille received the second highest honor in Wine Spectator’s awards, the Best of Award of Excellence.
Overall, 50 restaurants from the Philadelphia region made the list but none received the Grand Award.
