Louisiana-born chicken fingers franchise Raising Cane’s will open in the former Bertucci’s location in Montgomeryville in early 2025.

Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers is preparing to open its latest location in Montgomeryville early next year, writes Tony Di Domizio for the Daily Local News.

The Louisiana-born chicken fingers franchise is currently demolishing and clearing the former Bertucci’s site at 860 Bethlehem Pike.

“We are excited to bring our ONE LOVE – craveable chicken finger meals – to Montgomeryville,” said Hannah Henderson, of Raising Cane’s. “We expect to begin construction in late July and aim to open our doors in early 2025.”

According to Henderson, the Southern restaurant chain selected the Northeastern United States for expansion “based on sales potential and strong retail, as we continue to build Raising Cane’s in the Philadelphia market.”

Montgomery Township Supervisors gave the green light for the development in October with a 4-0 vote.

The new restaurant will replace the existing building and have a 2,913-square-foot layout, which will include a 1,098-square-foot covered outdoor seating area. It will also feature a double-lane drive-through along with parking.

Raising Cane’s also recently announced the opening of its first Montgomery County store in Willow Grove.
