Church Farm School has named Vincent J. Napoleon the Chair and President of its Board of Directors.

Napoleon joined the board in 2018 and, for the past year, has been serving as Vice Chair alongside Matthew J. Burns, whose three-year term as Chair and President recently expired.

Napoleon is a seasoned C-suite business leader, legal executive, and retired U.S. Air Force Reserve Colonel with extensive experience representing global Fortune 100 and 500 aerospace, technology, advanced technology, heavy industry, professional services, and life sciences companies. He is the founder and principal of Eagle Consulting Advisors, a business and legal advisory services firm. He also serves as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association, where he presides over disputes between commercial parties.

As Chair, Napoleon oversees all board committees and also leads the Head of School Search Committee, which is currently undergoing a national recruitment for CFS’s next leader. In the coming school year, he will work closely with Interim Head of School Tiffany Scott on a number of initiatives, including the current ongoing upgrades to the school’s residential cottages, where more than 150 students and cottage faculty reside.

“I am honored to be selected as Chair and President of the Board of Directors of the Church Farm School,” said Napoleon. “I look forward to working alongside our dedicated faculty, staff, and student scholars to continue to build upon the legacy of the Shreiner family.”

“Church Farm School is fortunate to have Vince as a reliable, trusted, and engaged leader as we center our work around student success and unlocking the potential of Church Farm School,” said Scott.

Active in church and civic duties, Napoleon also serves on the Board of Directors for the Bishop Walker School for Boys in Washington, D.C. He is a former member of the Diocesan Council of the Episcopal Diocese of Washington, D.C., and the Board of Directors for the Boy Scouts of America National Capitol Area Council.

Napoleon, a resident of Potomac, Md., holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Georgetown University and a J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh. He is also a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Air Command and Staff College and the U.S. Air Force Air War College.
