Women Golfers Give Back is gearing up for another successful Golf Get Ready event today at the Gulph Mills Golf Club in King of Prussia, aimed at equipping women in the Delaware Valley with essential golf skills for business networking, writes Ben Silver for Main Line Today.
Recognizing the significant role golf plays in client relations and networking, the nonprofit has organized this clinic to empower women with the confidence and skills necessary to participate in golf, traditionally perceived as a male-dominated sport.
Ellie Good, chair of the event for the second year and a lifelong golfer, emphasizes the program’s role in opening doors and making valuable business connections.
The event, not designed to produce professional golfers, instead focuses on foundational skills through stations dedicated to putting, chipping, and golf etiquette.
Instruction is provided by professionals, including Joanna Coe, Director of Instruction at Merion Golf Club, ensuring attendees receive top-notch guidance.
With an anticipated turnout of 50 to 60 women, some experienced and others new to the sport, the event promises to dismantle barriers and foster a supportive community where women can confidently say “yes” to business golf outings.
