A dessert shop with old-school Parisian charm is opening at the Plymouth Meeting Mall on May 11.

Nini B. Sweets, a family-owned small-batch dessert shop is planning a 1 PM opening, writes Marilyn Johnson for Philly Grub.

The business started as a dessert cart at the mall in October 2023 and is now a full-service dessert shop.

The shop is a “love letter” to its patrons, with an unwavering passion for delectable desserts.

The proprietor, Nini B., started baking during her high school years, producing mouthwatering pineapple upside-down cakes and pound cakes for friends and family.

This self-taught artisanal baker continue to pursue a mastery in baking at the dessert shop, working with husband Joshua, and her mother Anelia.

The Nini B Sweets menu will include popular sliced cakes, including Butter Cookie, Chocolate Dream, and Crazy Confetti, along with two banana puddings, cookies, bundt cakes, cake jars, brownies and more.

 “We want customers entering our shop to be visually immersed and enamored by all of our desserts,” Nini B. said.

There are also baking classes, including a “Design Your Own Dessert Box” class. The shop will have tastings and kids activities as well.
