U.S. Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick visited Hatboro last week for the grand opening and unveiling of KMM Group’s new state-of-the-art facility in the borough, writes Dino Ciliberti for the Patch.
The 100,000-square-foot facility features over 150 milling, turning, grinding, and EDM machines, along with an ISO Class 8 Clean Room. There are over 150 craftspeople, engineers, and manufacturing professionals working at the new facility.
KMM Group, led by CEO John Shegda, is a global manufacturing leader for MedTech, Aerospace, and Space Exploration, among other high-tech applications.
“This expansion signifies their commitment to being pioneers of innovation, and I wish them continued success,” said Fitzpatrick on Wednesday.
KMM Group is a collaborative fusion of the KVI Group, M&S Centerless Grinding, and Meron Medical. It manufactures mission-critical components for various industries.
“With a combined 100-year history of experience, we solve thorny manufacturing challenges to make the impossible possible,” said the company on its website.
