This Montgomery County Community Is Among the 50 Best Liberal Places to Live in America

A Montgomery County community has been named the top best place to live for liberals in America.

A Montgomery County community has been declared the No. 1 best liberal place to live in America, according to Stacker.

Based on data from Niche, which ranked the 50 best liberal places to live in the U.S., Ardmore came out on top.

Ardmore, with a population of 13,567,  has a suburban and urban feel with a population of liberal and young professionals.

The historic Black community offers many amenities and institutions, including basketball courts, a swimming pool, a library, and a variety of vibrant restaurants, breweries, and live music at the Ardmore Music Hall.

Median household income in Ardmore is $102,092 and the median home value is $346,300.

Renters will be a media monthly rent of $1,469, but a majority of Ardmore residents, 64, percent, own their own homes.

According to a 2014 Pew Research Center study, liberals enjoy a vibrant city setting that is highly walkable. Homes are usually smaller and there are a diversity of ethnicities and races throughout the community.

To compile its rankings, Niche looked several public data sources, including data from the U.S. Department of Education, the U.S. Census Bureau, and the FBI.
