Montgomery County spring flowers can be found at two popular spots.

We are all starved for the beauty of flowers by the time spring rolls around and in Montgomery County you’ll find two locations where you can find an eyeful, writes Emily Kovach for PA Eats.

From mid-to-late May, the public is invited to check out seven acres of cutting flowers at Maple Acres Farm in Plymouth Meeting.

The small farm features zinnias, peonies, cosmos, gladiolas, sunflowers and so much more.

Check in with the Maple Acres’ Facebook page to find out when the fields are open for picking.

You’ll find a farm market on site with plenty of produce, ice cream and more cut flowers for sale throughout the season.

Maple Acres Farm is at 2656 Narcissa Road.

Another popular destination is Ott’s Exotic Plants in Schwenksville.  Visiting here is like touring a botanical garden.

There are a variety of plants and flowers at this century-old spot.

The greenhouse and conservatory were built by the Ott family in 1964. Godfrey Ott and his family still operate the business.

There’s no pressure to buy as you wander the humid, aromatic, tropical space, though a huge plant selection is available for sale.

Ott’s Exotic Plants is l at 861 Gravel Pike.
