This new construction farmhouse in Ambler is part of the four-unit Tennis Pointe development just outside of town.

The development is one of the projects from Maxim Shtraus of RE/MAX Elite in Huntington Valley.

The most traditional feature of the home is its living room. It has the crown moldings and wainscoting often seen in Colonial houses. The untraditional twist is the marble-clad full-height gas fireplace.

A two-story-high foyer, also untraditional in an early American farmhouse, separates the living and dining rooms. 

The hardwood floors are traditional, but the material they are made from—acacia wood, is not.

The kitchen is as modern in function as it is traditional in appearance, with high-end Bertazzoni appliances, including a six-burner gas range with double oven.

The home includes a guest suite with en-suite full bath, along with six bedrooms, two with Jack and Jill bath. 

One bedroom has a sitting area and a balcony overlooking the backyard.

A stone patio off the kitchen allows outdoor entertaining.
